Mecasystem offers a wide range of retractable barriers. The FBM TANOS road blockers, designed to prevent ramming vehicles, are crash-test certified road barriers. They ensure high security for sensitive sites. These ultra-robust physical barriers can withstand a 7.5-ton truck traveling at nearly 80 km/h (M50 – K12). The TANOS, TANOS UltraShalow, and AGILIUM road blockers are available in various blocking widths (2010 mm / 3010 mm / 4010 mm).
The expanded range of FBM road barriers makes it possible to offer a solution adapted to the different needs and applications of the high-security market:
- TANOS Ultra Shalow FRB blockers meet the needs of shallow civil engineering projects, such as those in city centers. Thanks to their thin design, installation is minimal (30cm). Applications include embassies, places of worship, private residences, hotels, industrial sites, building access points and parking lots, airports, and highly sensitive locations.
- Surface FRB blockers, designed for temporary security needs, require no major construction work. Ideal for events, exhibitions, demonstrations…
- FRB TANOS High Security roadblocks for highly vulnerable sites feature a high blocking segment with very low penetration against ramming vehicles, less than 1 meter. Embassies, government buildings, military bases, power plants, nuclear facilities, ultra-sensitive sites… FB Mecasystem offers customized road blocking solutions. Blocking width and height are customizable.
